Very tough to scan and Understand

I purchased this book to arrange for a course on producing strategy. Am terribly disappointed currently how very little I gained from this book. My expectation was that it'd facilitate me get some higher conceptual and sensible understanding concerning operations strategy. whereas the book looks to hide all pertinent topics on operations strategy, it lacks clarity in its definitions and it's no flow, that makes it extraordinarily tough to scan. I took a minimum of 3 tries to scan varied chapters to raised perceive strategy development approaches, however I gave up when when a page or 2 as a result of I had a tough time understanding what the authors were attempting to mention. Clearly, this book is written at a theoretical level that even provides a personal with faculty degree an additional challenge... Am sorry to mention that I feel I created a wrong call once I bought this book.
